The brain requires oxygen to function so he must have had something that produce it. This maybe organic lungs or cyborg parts, either way when Mace crushed him (Clone Wars Ep25) that must have damaged these hence the wheezing. I think he always crouched when he walked. That was me who mentioned programming lol. I know he was organic and his body was only machine but I was just wondering why it coughed and walked hunch-backed and figured maybe he programmed it to be like he would if he had the rest of his body, but that doesn't sound so good anymore lol. I thought he was kinda cool. Not having seen these cartoons I at first thought he was some high-tech droid General they had made or something, but when I saw he was organic it was kinda like a bit of a prelude to what was going to happen to Anakin for me. Apparently he's supposed to be "Kaleesh" whatever that is. I read that he was a super General type guy on his planet and then got shot down in a ship and was almost dead. Then Count Dooku and Darth Sidious came to get him and made him into a terminator-like thing. |

Well I'm pretty sure that he has an organic brain. So if that brain is hooked into cybernetic nerve system his brain would tell his mechanical body to mimic is actions just out of habit. Example: Several months ago my Aunt lost her left arm in an accident. She has whats known as "Ghost Pains/Feeling" Her brain is still trying to send her arm signals. and she still feels as though she has her arm and fingers. So one of my co-workers read "Lab. of Evil" which goes into his back story. I don't remember his species, but he was an amazing war stratigist. Who wasn't the most upstanding general. He agreed to work with Sidous and Dooku, but he was too independant. So they staged and accident, then moved his remains into the body you see. This also somehow let them ahve omre control over them. So now they have like the galaxies best general at thier complete disposal. The reason he was coughing is because in "The Clone Wars" (the cartoons the show what happens between episodes 2 and 3) at the end he has a brief encounter with Mace and Mace like force crushes part of his body injuring him. Most of what I have researched was, he's was a bug like creature, kinda spidery/humanoid. Then he was fatally injured, where palpatine came in and proposed that they operate on him to make him half machine or he would die, so grevious said yes.
