I noticed that when Obi-Wan begins to duel on his own (without Anakin) he holds out two fingers. He does this twice in the movie and I was wondering if there was any sort of significance to this. _______________ Honor those better than you would yourself. |

Nah, not Samurai, watch closely and you'll se that Beatrix is not holding a Katana in the scene with Pai-Mei. Maybe it's the Star Wars universe's equivalent of the 'up yours' sign lol. On a totally unrelated note, I have heard that the 'up yours' sign originated from Medieval Welsh Longbowmen. Because they were so deadly, when the French caught them apparently they would cut off their two fingers so they couldn't shoot the longbow again. And so to taunt them before battle, the Welsh would hold up their fingers in the modern-day 'up yours' symbol. Ok back in my box now... |
