I was thinking about buying it, but I heard stuff about the movies being altered and all. And I wanted to know if a lot if changed, or just a little. Is it worth buying if I have all the 3 movies on video? |

well, I have the DVD-box. I don't mind the changes, besides two scenes The Palpatine and Vader Scene in ESB, and the Ghosts scene in ROTJ. If you don't mind those, go buy it. Will be watching ROTJ with the girlfriend later this week, and I won't be showing the DVD-version, that's for sure  Quote: I've heard that there will be a release of the original triogy (un-alted) on DVD next year some time, but dont quote me on that. I've got the triology on DVD Darth, and I think it's brilliant. The quality is better, the sound is better, and I enjoy watching them again and again and again. If you're a traditionalist tho, you won't like them. Too modern _______________ Geriatric single User, with a touch of Staff now and again. Influenced by Dash Starlight, Jaina. Janus, and Gradius in staff. And in yellow stance. Jaina D'Kana, who really helped me when I first joined the Academy and Jaiko D'Kana, who's classes I took in the begining. I don't mind the changes so much but I have every release of a star wars box set since the original(pre added and enhanced footage) and that is the one i watch the most _______________ I have seen EP3 now I can die happy and complete. Happy Star Wars Completion day everyone!!!! |

The movies released on DVD are the same that were in the theaters dubbed "special edition".
