I couldn't agree more. This is the place to start if you want to start making maps. Can't wait for those more advanced sections to be finished - Babyspinach's reflecting water tut is great fun and so cool to see in action! |

great tut's for the new mapper, lets hope DarthG can finish up the experienced and advanced sections. I have "followed" Diesals program for some time, when the site went down the first time I was lost!!! Once it came back up I set it up for offline use and been using it that way ever since. If you use Diesals tutorial and are new really go thru it from the beginning, even if you have used Radiant and generated a few rooms still do it in order, its worth it and you can work thru all the material in just a couple hours if you are organized. The benefit comes from a well thought out lesson progression, each lesson builds on the one before it. By the time you get to the end of material that is there you will have alot of Radiants intricacies embedded in your mind. Seems to me RichDiesal might be a teacher/professor IRL Props to DArthG and Map Center _______________ “Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. Well this seemed too good to be true... I suppose beggars shouldnt be choosers... First I thought this is my mecca and the land of promise... But.. There is always a but. So I couldnt find any pictures in these archived tutorials.  Webarchive simply didnt saved the attached pictures , which makes to use the mostly picture based tuts impossible.Thank you anyway it made me happy for a few minutes. So still I'd like to ask anyone who has all the tutorial in a zipped format or any way, please make it available for me.
