I tried to make the "private duel" music in JK3 to play "duel of teh fates" .mp3. I did this by making a new folder called "music" then a folder called "mp" and put it in the "music" folder. I then renamed the .mp3 to "duel.mp3" and put it into the mp folder. I then used WinRar on the "music" folder to "add to archive" I changed the compression ton "zip" and the extension to .pk3. I got this method from setementor, but it never worked. Have i done something wrong? Any suggestions   !!!!!_______________ Basic m**********r do you speak it? |

It actually depends on the quality of the mp3. I noticed that at 192kbps, I couldn't get it to work. Try ripping it at 128kbps and let me know if you get it to work. _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

heh I actauly dowloaded a pk3 file for that, its awesome when I am on a RP server where I hardly duel because im like a under cover alternate reality jawa jedi, but when some with moron goes rampaging I challenge him to a pure duel ( use there pride against them if they don't accept by calling them a coward ) And when I know alot of stuf RP wise is on the line and got the epic music going, I really am going all out. _______________ "Darkness is simply the absence of Light" "Is it not easier to snuff out the light completely than to make no shadow or darknes at all and create pure light?" The JA servers are all set to "pure mode", which means only pk3s available on the server will be able to be used in game. Therefore, anything you roll yourself won't work on the servers. Try getting someone you know to host a simple non-pure server (or do it yourself and invite someone in), and see if it works. Or start a solo game and enter in the console: /music mp/duel _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |
