Waking to floods of color Pictures in my mind Constant dreaming, screaming, bleeding (make it stop) Rush of people in my life Wanting, needing, pleading, teasing With their false smiles and hidden agendas (make them go away) I serve with a smile Giving, helping, pleasing, listening Emptying myself of all that is good Left alone tired, spent, drained, used (ive got to stop) In the late hours of the nite safe in my special room Candles, incense, dagger, stones Malediction on my mind (Curse them! Make them pay!) Make someone love me.... Skyclad I meditate Cure me of all that i hate Dont let me become the one who uses, abuses, hates, invalidates (lets it all go) Keep me pure knowing that once in a while I will see people like me in the shadows too Let me not be decieved, distracted, mauled By the repugnance of my society Someone will recognize me Someone will love me I open my eyes and realize I am not too lost to be saved wandering lost in these shadows, watching all that is around me, what is it i see now? blinding white light begging me, luring me somewhere to take away the pain, shall i go with this flow? or stay within the loneliness like a thick blanket, suffocating and torturous In those shadows here i sit, i realize that the light isnt the light of death, but the light of love. _______________ Sanity is for the weak -Let the madness consume you...
