In eposide 2 dooku said that most of the Sente was under control of a sith lord. We know thats Palpatine/ Sidious. But herese wat gets me, were the senete under the persation of a sith or did they know he was a sith? And if they did know then if Windu had captured Sidious would it had mattered if he was trialed before the senete because they already knew about him? I think he just tried to hint to the fact that Palpatine was a sith lord. The senate | is controlled | by a Sith Lord. The senate | is controlled | by the Supreme Chansellor (Palpatine). If Dooku hadn't been a Sith, perhaps the Jedi Council would believe him, keep an even closer eye on Palpatine and find out who he really was. _______________ In the navy and LOVING it!

I think that many corrupt senators were in league with him to do things for their own gain. If anyone else knew he was a Sith, however, I think it would only be his close aides and other Sith. Not even General Grievous knew Palpatine was Darth Sidious. I hear he worked for Sidious via hologram but wanted to kill the Chancellor.
