I do not follow, I listen. When I am calm and focused I hear. A jedi is what a jedi does. I believe in good will toward all who spread good will. I believe that there is a power greater than I and I can understand that power only if it wishes me to understand it. It is a practice similar to Budhism if you have to compare. Inner reflection, or meditation, opening your mind to a greater conscience. No big mystery the clues are all around you, we are all connected. Just as you and I are connected. there could be sotmhing such as ''force' although it may be different. there is. in my beleif. a strong life force that does make everything moves. Meh, the whole Jedi religion thing started when people who didn't believe in any particular religion put Jedi in their Census Forms. I however wrote "OK" in the space where it says "Do not write on this space!" I read a much older article that came out right after ep1 did...and it wasnt about a jedi religion BUT it did say in the article george lucas used aspects of many religions to make the jedi order...he himself said he wanted to show people there was a god but in a "modern" way..(he says soemthin to that extent in this article too) u can see by the robes the jedi obi wan and quigonn wore are similiar to a sect of christianity..(i think itz roman catholic...dunno...i actually met couple of these guyz..had BIG crosses and dressed in similiar robes..they were preists)...Naboo's architecture was inspired by ottoman empire...may the force be with u is similiar to muslims's may peace be with u..and then the aspects of the LIVING force and UNIFYING force is similair to Tao and Zen, respectively.
