Microsoft's been on this kick for a while... supposedly pirated Longhorn installs will deny any and all downloads from Microsoft Update and/or Windows Update. I doubt it'll be long before they crack that too, unless they start storing proofs of purchase in the OS itself, which would be hard to get past the privacy people. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |
