well as we all know there's the usual Lightsaber for all humanoids. however how is it besides the staff, off hand and traditional saber how come the others r almost never mentioned? almost nobody knows about the 'lightclub' or the 'lightwhip' or even that yoda's short lil one is actually a 'lightdagger'? just a thing 2 point out and yeh the above is in Star Wars just nobody knows about em... If there are any Star Wars games that come out in the near future I'd personally lub it if u gotta use any of teh above.  EDIT: and OH MY FUDGING GAWD i'm spamming this place  _______________ Sanity is for the weak -Let the madness consume you... What would be the point of making a lightspears shaft out of cortosis? Cortosis shorts out lightsabers, causing them to overload and turn off. As a material its rubbish as cortosis is very brittle and breaks easily  its only useful property is that it resists lightsabers. the pen is mightier than the sword, in this case you think material weapons such as lightsabers and such are magnificent, the better weapon is the mind of the jedi because he can use the force, or any other means. I like Corran Horn's. He can switch the crystals while its active with the flip of a switch and the blade length doubles in size and color. They're almost never mentioned because they are extremely uncommon. Even a staff saber is an unusual weapon to be seen. If its not a regular occurence you won't be seeing a lot of mention of them. You don't really see much mention of jetpacks either when you think about it. Yeah in a book I read there was this bounty hunter who used a lightwhip.
