Heres what I herd, at one scene where Aninkin sees his second dream and wakes up he askes if Obi-wan has been there. Padame says He was worried about Ani. Then in the scene before the fight where Obi-wan goes to see Padame to tell her what happened to Ani. Obi-wan is shocked to find out that Ani is the father. I think the prophecy was perfectly read, the chosen one did bring balance to the force, and he did destroy the Sith. What was he supposed to do allow the proud Jedi to continue to exist just cuz they wanted to? yep, Obi-Wan does know. in the ROTS book when he goes to visit padme he tells her that he knows and that he won't tell anyone, he thinks it's kinda good cause he's the only ne that can make anakin smile/happy. rest of the time he's grumpy  but i don't think he knows how far it goes and that they're married. |

It is wrong if we assume that the Force doesn't want the Jedi destroyed. IMHO the force wants the Jedi, as they existed in the prequels, destroyed. The Force spares Obi Wan since he clearly understand the nature of the force and is the most humble of the Jedi. The Force spares Yoda because Yoda knows where the Jedi have strayed from the true nature of the light side of the force. As much of an abomination as the Sith are maybe they are tools of the Force, used to remove the Jedi, in thier current form, from the galaxy. Just like Palpatine says to Anakin that good and evil is merely perspective. I think, my opinion here, that once the events of ROTS were complete Obi Wan and Yoda reflect on what happened and how they were so blind, but they were blinded by the force, which of course is what they depended on for thier sight. They of course learn quickly to use thier own eyes and instincts just for survival on the rough worlds where they remain exiled. _______________ “Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. Obiwan never went to Padme's to find out if Anikan was ok, he went there to find out where he was so he could kill him, kill a sith. I'm pretty sure he already figured it out. He knows that they have fallen in like with each other and are making babies, so Obi-Wan knows that Padme is the closest thing to Anakin. It would just take common sense for Obi-Wan to figure it out. |
