They both have the same amount of ram, though the ps3 has 256 dedicated to video and 256 for system, its still 512.. Yea, they are very similar so i guess we'll have to let the games decide. I know theyre just pre-rendered CG stuff which could have been made 3 years ago for all we know doesnt show any of the PS3s power but i only really care about the games and how theyre layed out...graphics will be an important factor but between all 3 of the consoles you wont even notice the difference....but the PS3 is still cooler  |

Bill Gates put it best, at some tech summit a few weeks back he said "We have a Ferrari, and Sony has a Ferrari..while nintendo has, well we don't know what nintendo has.." Both the 360 and ps3 are very similar in their specs.. Don't forget IBM is making the CPU for all 3 consoles so they are very similar. Its pretty good to say the GPU power on both the 360 and ps3 will be similar. just differencer per what each company things is good for graphics. Although the PS3 looks like a fax machine or home office copy machine or even I dare say a small hi-tech refrigerator, I'm going to say that I anticipate it a lot and from what I've heard it might be better than the 360 considering that it's being released a year or so later. I'm not a big fan of things Japanese, except for maybe Pokemon back in good old days and some Dragonball, but when it comes to console games, I consider Japan a god. |

Japan has some kind of moral issues with anything American. Microsoft especially. Therefore the majority of japanese made games don't get released on XBox or PC (not saying theres only microsoft related PC's but most PC's use windows.) And thus, Playstation/Sony will allways have "cooler" games as the colorful japanese world of video gaming seems to stick itself to japanese made consoles. People who like colorful, badly translated video games will tend to swing more to the PS1/2/3 but people who like the Western bang bang bang will hop along to PC and XBOX. You're all just talking about your own opinions like they would be facts.. In some ways the XboX 360 is better than the PS3, and vice versa.. The same with every freaking thing you buy.. Like you can eat the hen, but the microwave would probably work longer. And the microwave can't lay eggs, like the hen can.. You're arguing about something like that.. Personally when I play my games i'd rather hold a S controller then a small boomarang. Seriously I saw that controller and wanted to go outside and throw it around not play games with it. Also with that weird rounded design theres no good way to set it and keep it compact. You can't stack anything on top if it, and vertically you can't have anything to close on either side because of the roundness, that just wastes space. The xbox 360 has a concave, so you can still stack stuff if you wanted to, and vertically it would fit nicely between two other componants -Dice _______________ Dicemaster |
