There was a marine biologist who studied porpoises and loved them. One day he discovered a way to make a serum that would enable a porpoise to live forever!
The only catch was that he needed a blood sample from a rare South American bird. He couldn't afford to go, so he decided to sneak into a zoo one night, steal one, and return it the following night after extracting the blood sample. All was going well, and he had the bird in his possession, but when he turned to leave he saw that a huge old lion had somehow gotten out of its cage and was lying directly across his path. The marine biologist thought that the lion looked extremely old and docile and that it was worth the risk for porpoises to live forever. So he tucked the bird under his arm and stepped carefully over the lion in hopes it wouldn't attack. The lion remained absolutely placid, and all looked well, when suddenly the police showed up. The biologist was arrested for transporting a myna over a staid lion for immortal porpoises. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
