I have a problem, I need to re-install the game but the uninstall button is missing so I can't uninstall it and just deleting all the games files deosn't work either. I can't play the game until it is fixed. If anyone has any advice please post it here. _______________ My allie is the force , and a powerfull allie it is.{Yoda} -Proud padawan of Gradius -Grandfather to Quigon Jinn |

Manually delete the folder with the KOTOR2 junk (you might be able to salvage and use save games). Then you can use a program like CCleaner to remove the registry riff raff that's left over. It searches the registry for crap that is left over. You can then delete it easily. I had to do this for a program recently that would not uninstall. Worked like a charm. _______________ - Threat Ex-Unofficial Padawan of Rivian, AKA Chaos Ex-Unofficial Padawan of Phantom Owner of Grycen's 180th comment, Raydoe's 455th comment, and Rivian's EVIL 666th comment! |

Quote: BUT the add/remove programs feature in windows also deletes the registry values, since it's from those values it determines if something is installed or not.. so it would work.. Unless you already manually deleted all of it. Then the uninstall wouldn't start up ... Believe me, I had the same problem he has now ![]() _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! BUT the add/remove programs feature in windows also deletes the registry values, since it's from those values it determines if something is installed or not.. so it would work..in that case you need to take the game out of the registry What Sazabi then later said in the last post, that's a whole different case then, and I can't help any more since I haven't heard the whole thing from Gilan Jinn himself.. -Ataris <3 _______________ [ Honorable mentions: aph3x | Milamber | Bail Hope Belouve | Jaiko D'Kana | Rosered | JediEthic | Mike/JJ/TheKing | Kensei | Dane | Gradius | Thomas Skywalker | Pink Floyd | Setementor | Steinin | Odan-Wei ] [ Owner of: MetaDust's 500th comment! | Eica's 700th comment! | Pink Floyd's 666th, 999th, 1200th and 1337th comment! | DarkRyu's 400th comment! | Redeye's 1st comment! | Cow's 1111st comment! | Rufusan's 75th comment! | Wicek's 3300th and 3400th comment! | Dash Starlight's 2000th comment! | Piccolo's 3400th comment! | Takaru's 300th comment! | Senor Hat's 900th comment! | Rytandus' 4160th comment! | The first ever awarded, the original, the one and only, Catphin Award!!1 ] "Music expresses that which can not be put in to words but can not remain silent." your best bet would be to download Regcleaner. It makes it a lot easier (+ safer I think too) Just look for Lucasarts in the 'Author' section, and then find Kotor 2 in the Software section. Select it by clicking it, and then select 'Remove Selected'. That's all there is to it. Of course, do be careful about removing things. _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! delete all game files and then go to start menu and select run. write regedit there. now check HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE software folders for any kotor or lucas/kotor entries. delete them. WARNING!!! : careful about deleting things tho - one wrong deletion and something really important will stop workin. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
