I think one of the best and smartest things to do is actually have the twins be born on dagobah or at least have Luke be there as a side trip to his voyage to the lars homestead. Giving more meaning to "I don't know, there's something familiar about this place. I feel like-"

OK, episode 3. Here's what, according to what i have read over th eyears, need sto happen to link up to edisode 4:

-Luke and Leia be born

-Amidala, realising that Anakin is turning, runs and hides on Alderann, leaving Luke with Anakins step-brother, Owen Lars

- Anakin and Kenobi have a battle in a volcano, where anakin loses and is left for dead in the lava

-Anakin, permanently scarred by the lava and angry at Obi- Wan for holding him back, robbing him of his mother, and doing this to him, dons his life supporting armour, joins Sideous and becomes Darth Vader

-presumably, for this to happen, Dooku must die. Possibly at Anakins hands.

-The jedi must be purged and scatted, with Yoda heading to Dagobah and Kenobi to Tatooine.

My guess for the final scene:

Kenobi and Amidala part company for the last time

"Take care of him master kenobi, hopefully one day, brother and sister will be able to meet without the fear of death hanging over them"

"Fear not my lady, young Luke will be perfectly safe with the Lars's. They are good people, they will teach him well the lessons of life"

"I hope so, may the force be with you, master Kenobi"

"and with you, senator"

[meanwhile, on Coruscant]

"I am pleased with your change of heart, my young aprentice. Did i not tell you you woul dbe most powerful of all the jedi?"

*voice coming from the next room*

"I am not yet, i didn't find Obi-Wan. But I will. Meanwhile, i hae the others to hunt down"

"Indeed you do my friend. But it will not be Anakin Skywalker who will do it. Have you chosen your new title yet?"

" I have. I am Vader"

"Well then, come. Join me and look upon our New Order as the new Dark Lord of teh Sith, Darth Vader,"

*Anakin, now in his black armour and helmet, steps ut of the shadows to stand by the emperors side, lookin out on a dark vista of coruscant city-scape*

Of, course, it could be someting completly different.

obi-wan was trained by yoda and all the other instructors before becoming qui-gon's pada, yes

read the jedi apprentice books :P

also, yoda wad the only teacher that was still alive. He wouldn't go. 'go to my master Qui-Gon, but wait... he's dead...'

edit: fixed the smilie, lol

ioshee, everybody called yoda master. Its like, Dooku calling Obi "Master Kenobi" in that case, Master is a title to their name, not personal master.

Edit: all i can say is this
"History repeats itself"
THERE YOU GO! (i havent noticed any of the similarities yo uhave said before)
Note: ep 3 could kinda be like ep 6, only instead of the good guys getting strong, itll be the baddies

Don't forget Dooku offering obi wan to join him and to end this conflict. "I'll never join you"
An asteroid field chase where they hide on an asteroid and also sneak away after the enemy leaves. Romance between two main characters although Ford and Fisher did a much better job of pulling it off.

There's also a desperate plan to destroy the death star and to take back naboo. In both a massive few torpedoes trigger a massive explosion.

----Or didn't you notice all the major similarities between the two current trilogies so far.----
Too true. In Episodes 1 & 4 we see the master being killed by a Sith, his Padawan screaming in anger, infiltration of a massive enemy base, then a big battle with the good guys winning and blowing an enemy space station to oblivion.

Episodes 2 & 5 we see a big battle where the good guys lose at first and are forced to retreat (the Jedi retreated from the arena, but not the entire battle), the appearance of a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, a dead Jedi's voice (Qui Gon's voice can be heard in Episode 2), a Padawan who becomes greatly enraged, and a Lightsaber fight with the good guys losing (Obi Wan and Anakin lost, but Yoda didn't) then the bad guy escapes. I am amazed Count Dooku didn't say to Anakin, "Anny, I am your father!"

Unfortunately Yub he wouldn't do that. If he were to decide to actually do an ep7-9 he would completely scrap any ideas of what happens after rotj in the books and create a third warped trilogy of what he already has. Or didn't you notice all the major similarities between the two current trilogies so far.

With regards to the Ep7 question. i can't see how he could make another movie since everything from 1 day after ROTJ up to, what?, 32 years after ROTJ has been covered in the books. I suppose he make amovie version of, for example, the Thrawn trilogy but it would leave a lot of people guessiing about details.

But in ESB the ghost Ben says that Yoda provided direct instruction. I can only assume that he means the time before he became Qui-Gon's padawan.

Master is as much a title as a position in the Jedi Ranks.

You see in the movies that just about everybody calls him Master Yoda. In at least one scene in EP 2, Anakin refers to Mace Windu as Master Windu. That's why.

Yeah I thought that might be the answer but it's much more personal than that. For instace he says that Yoda trained him just as he trained Vader which implies a one on one kind of relationship.

in ep2 you see that at some point in a padawan's journey, yoda is his/her master.

you know, the 'bear clan' that yoda is teaching when obi-wan tries to find his lost planet.

Why does Ben refer to Yoda as his master in Ep. 5 when we know that his direct master was Qui Gon? Qui Gon's was Dukoo and Dukoo's was Yoda. Is he referring to some sort of chain effect? Or does Yoda teach him some more in Ep. 3?

There is no mention of any episode beyond six in my GUIDE, however, this may or may not be intentional on behalf of Lucas film.
