Can I change Single Saber Alt attack to Kick? | |

I've asked other players this on other forums and had a mixed response, but nothing definite. Being a player who doesn't use Saber Throw, (putting my force points elsewhere) I wondered if there was a way of changing my alt/left click attack when using single saber so I could kick (as you can when using the Saber Staff)? (I've seen NPC's do it in the single player game, although of course that probably doesn't count for much, wosr luck....) JKD _______________ Ooops |

It's a fairly easy mod to the mp source code to enable this. Do you mean in an un-modded game? |

Go to the powerduel server called Jawascript. You can do all kinds of junk like this there _______________ "You can't get Windows on a Mac because the drivers are not compatible." --- Some dude from the Geek Squad "So if you have quad-core, you have four times the RAM, right?" --- Some guy at Best Buy This comment was edited by DarthMike on Oct 26 2005 02:14am. |

Note that g_debugmelee is a server-side setting that enables extra melee moves. If you want to use it, you'll have to play on a server that uses it, or run your own. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

I didn't think it was possible, outside of the Staff one as detailed by Setementor. Wasn't aware of the Meleee/fists option tho - will try that. Thanx for replying all. _______________ Ooops |

There's all sorts of stuff that NPCs can do in single-player that wasn't ever implemented for the player to do - the vast majority of it filthy hardcoded hacks affecting only one or two specific NPCs... ever tried spawning a cultistcommando in SP? _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. There are two ways to kick: change your Sabertype to Staff and hit Alt. Attack + a direction, or remove all Force points from Saber Attack to get Melee Fists, and, if you enable g_debugmelee, the ability to kick. In other modifcations, there may be other ways to do this. But as far as I'm aware, these are the only ways that you are usually able to kick, and it isn't possible in Single Saber to my knowledge. |
