Well guys, I'm making my first post in a long time. I recently started college and have been EXTREMLY busy. I recently pledged at the fraternity SAE, and between that and school work i've had zero time for any games. All I know of fraternities is how they treat their pledges like complete crap, do odd sexual things to each other, hold parties that they all have to get together and build structures for, do odd sexual things to the women at said parties, drink too much, and fail out of college. All of it for some secret society return on an investment bullsh-t. I'd take someone not in a frat over a fratboy any day. Its good to know that your well bought new best friends will carry you for the rest of your life. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I love the mis-understandings of fraternities. I personally believe joining SAE was the best decision I've made since coming here! I love it, I don't have to pay for friends, i can easily make them on my own, but how often do you get to make connections with 275,000 ppl across the nation? Just by joining I am "brothers" with that many people. Take a careful look DJ, i bet there are lots of people that you know and respect that were in a fraternity in college. I found out that several lawyers, bankers, docters, and business owners from my home town were all in fraternities. The old saying is "its not what you know, its who you know." Especially in my major, which is business, you can easily take a job from someone with a higher GPA if you were in a fraternity and have better connections. so really, maybe i did "buy" my friends, but its the best return investment i could ever make -Dice _______________ Dicemaster |
