What are your favourite stupid quotes from politicians, personally i quite like: "If you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness." - G. W. Bush - o k then...if you say so  
or "Teach a child to read and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test" Duh! - you don't say - Bush again i'm afraid.
I was going to put some of The great English quotes of all time here too - but I'll leave it to you guys to find those
