Actually, their patch distribution is pretty smart and works great. Imagine a major patch day. 300MB patch, tens of thousands of people trying to get it at the same time. Instead of waiting on some clogged up servers you get it via bittorrent where the more people the faster it goes. If for some strange reason their torrent doesn't work for you, there are always a zillion sites mirroring the patches. _______________ make install -not war |

end of warcraft? Um... no. Your kidding about the expansions right? WoW pumps out expansions at a slower rate than most other MMO's. The monthly fees are mainly to maintain the hardware and such, and some of it is pure profit. The content updates are just to keep hardcore players happy to continue you to pay. well the problem is that most of the key characters were in warcraft 3. when all of the key characters are dead (only like one main villain, and few other bad guys like kiljaden) wow will either end till wow2 or warcraft 4... or become even more lame lore-wise than it is now. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
