yep thats right, this week i have my work experience. for those of you who dont know what it is: work experience is basicly when the year 10 students have a week of doing a job, (and not getting payed!! :eek to see what its like and to have a few..well experiences from it  so anyways I'm off in an hour or so i think so wish me luck everyone _______________ [proud owner of talions 200th, 700th,1111th coment AND 1400th , DJK's 3001th coment! , saz's 400th coment! liso's 800th coment! It's not volunteer work, its something to just put on your resume at a time in your life when you dont actually have vocational experience....but as monty said its pretty bs and you just have fun. Work Experience dont go on your sheet for previous jobs for future employers to look through, that would be just plain stupid, u gain no experience in work experience that could potentially help u in a later job. Lets ring up for a reference, , Hi there im ringing about a person you had there called mr smith, hmm we havent had anyone here called mr smith, oh i think it was work experience he did with you 2yrs ago. Oh that Mr smith, well there isnt much to tell really he didnt do much because we had no use for him, he just took out the trash and talked to the other staff really. See the most u will do is the very little things that happen and even at that your young and you dont even take it all in let alone WANT to take it in, Work experience was just a bit of fun, i did mine at Megazone ( which is a laser quest place ) and all i did was play laser quest all day aint never put it down on a CV, infact i aint never had a CV but i have been employed now for 6yrs etc... etc... In conclusion it isnt free labour, your there just to have a bit of fun it might even give u some small idea of a saturday job or something _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

The moment I turned 16 last March, I got a job at Best Buy and have been working there ever since with a lopsy schedule, but it has given me a good amount of experience. Not to mention nice 15% discounts! |

phew i survived the first day ! with two cut fingers, and i broke a glass ... all in all not too bad .
