| Buying a new PC base unit, any suggestions? | |

Yo all, Im buying a new Pc base unit! I want to be able to play the latest games and the near future ones at reasonable frame rates. I have 500 crisp Uk pounds to spend and I have a rough idea of what I want. amd athlon 64 3500+ nvidia 6600gt/6800gs 256mb ,1 gb of ram , pci express motherboard (sli compatible for future) 160gb hard drive etc. I have tried overclockers.co.uk to buy all the components seperately but its come to 537, a little too much. Anybody know of any good sites? I have tried alot already but there must be some I havnt, thanks  EDIT anyone know if a Geforce 6800xt is better than a 6600gt? the xt is the cheaper 6800 chip... Youre right, "a few months" was understated. Uh the DX 10 cards won't be out until Vista is out which will be at the end of the year. The DX10 spec probably isn't even finished yet, they released a TP( Tech Preview ) with teh December 2005 SDK which is a sample of whats to come.
