From the commentary for the video, i got the impression that although it was indeed able to connect online and other players worlds and systems would join the galaxy, it was not a MMOG (in fact i think the commentator says as much himself). The computer would take control of the players civilization based on a personality established from the human players actions in their own game - you would not actually play other humans, merely what they had created. edit: Oh and i think where you are coming from with the Snake comparison is the intial stages where you play a protozoa (or whatever) the commentator says himself that this stage of the game resembles an advanced version of Pac Man Later stages are described more as Sin City or Sim Earth, with other influences as well. _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? Well Saz, to your question "is it mmorpg" I think it's going to be somewhat like GW in terms to where you get your *Own Copy* of the galaxy. Then whatever changes you make to yours. Gets sent to the master database. Then if you want to conquer a players empire you would do so on yours but it wouldn't destroy theirs. So you wouldn't have to start all over.
