I'm not a microsoft hater.. I don't hate the Xbox360 because it has the microsoft brand. I don't like the architecture choosen for the Xbox 360. At a point to save costs on the 360, they choose a CPU architecture that performs badly at what games use extensivly that being whats called branching, logical if statements ex: Quote: if ( something ) { doIt(); } else { DoSomethingElse(); } Basically witht he 360, it doesn't have branch prediction, meaning hte CPU cannot try to guess which part of the code will be executed, which is a HUGE performance hit. Among other technical details about the 360. Oh, I wasn't involed with the game play aspect of Quake4, and I could go into other reasons why Quake4 could of been better. If you are talking about x360 for Q4, it was VERY hard to take an Engine designed for a PC with very powerful advantages over the 360 and make it work on teh X360 _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world.
