hes extremely overrated, only good at a few games and isnt even all that in those. he also tends to make incredible proclaimations and is entirely too full of himself. 300,000 for the amount of time hes put into it would mean hes making far less money than anyone with a decent university degree, especially considering he has to travel across the world constantly for the _chance_ to earn it. _______________ I fite for teh usars!1 |

Would playing games even be funny anymore? I can see getting sick of them very easily if I had to make a living off them. Games are meant to be played in times of leisure not for an occupation. I just feel lucky we have guys like this. Now I can't be arsed to try and become the worlds best in some game, and can get a real job. I mean cool, maybe he makes more money than I do only by playing games. Well I think he's earnt it. Maybe I'll start doing pronclips with ostridge's and see if that becomes the new craze. I agree it isn't fair if he gets to play the games months before their release, but I don't think he gets an "unfair" advantage by getting to practice all day instead of having a job. That's what professionals in every sport do. Its definitely quite a nice life to earn his living by defeating others in online games and winning competitions imo. However, out of many thousands of extremly talented gamers, hes just one lucky guy who got picked up by some sponsors which want to make "pro-gaming" mainstream and need someone to bring their message across. Infact, im not suprised that hes so extremly successful since hes practically dedicating his whole life to FPS (i.e. training 6 hours a day etc). I dont think its very fair for everyone else if he gets to play the newest FPS months before their release date, in order to ensure that hes ontop of everyone else right from the beginning. Combine all that with A LOT of publicity and youll get the perfect role-model for every kid who prefers to play games instead of pursuing their popstar career. _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here!
