Wait, why is the file called "duel.pk3"? It should be an mp3. The pk3 is the file that contains the music/ folder, the mp/ folder inside that, and the duel.mp3 inside that. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

Hmm, what song is it? If you dont mind me asking. |

Okay, so it turns out that the file was corrupt some how, and if you increased the volume, it gave the " MP3ERR: Bad or unsupported file! (music/mp/duel.mp3)" message. I had someone who has done this type of thing try and do it, and teir version did the same thing. _______________ Former padawan of RoseRed, and cofounder of the Wii! Triumvirate! Try going to Google and searching for some. There is also a program which often comes with computers called Sound Recorder that allows you to increase the volume of wav files. Unfortunately, this is an mp3 you're wanting to modify. |

Yes, there is a lot of music editing software on the internet that allows you to increase the volume of music files. |

Okay so I managed to make it and include a read me.. however they're in the win zip archiver and I dont know what to do next (as far as getting the zipped file somewhere.) Also, I put the .pk3 file into my base, and it works however it's very, very quiet. Any suggestions on how to make it louder, if that's even possible? If so email me or catch me on msn RinAnTian@gmail.com my email is the same as my msn address. Thanks in advance for any help, and thank you Pink Floyd_Mintaka and Setementor for the help. _______________ Former padawan of RoseRed, and cofounder of the Wii! Triumvirate! If you want to make sure that everybody gets the readme file when they download it directly from a server, include it in the pk3. Whether you do or not though, you should include it in a zip file along with the pk3. |

Thank you, however I'm using Win Zip/ Win RAR (I have both, so either one works.) and also I was wondering where I would include the readme file? _______________ Former padawan of RoseRed, and cofounder of the Wii! its actually really simple, i use a program called 'Pakscape' im not sure if you have it or not, but just google that to DL it. once you have pakscape just open it, create a new thing, make a folder called 'music' inside of that make another folder called 'mp' inside that put your song (make sure its a .mp3) and save that as a .pk3 and put it in your base folder. and your done! EDIT: oh and, be sure to call your music file 'duel.mp3' or else it wont work This comment was edited by Pink_Mintaka on Mar 31 2006 09:47pm. |
