Quote: I watched The Unbreakable last night on DVD. It's a film from 2000 with Bruce Willis and Samuel. L. Jackson in it. God dammit was that film good. They had this MASSIVE twist at the VERY end of the film and I literally jumped back in my seat cos I was like "WTF!?" If you get the chance to, watch it. Seriously. It's a really good film with a good story line. Also, there's alot of parts in the film which coincide with other parts of the film really well. There are alot of links. Damn, that one at the end caught me off guard though. Yeah i saw that when it came out, fantastic film, couldn't describe it better. Although you might be interested to know, if you didn't already, that it is directed by the same guy that directed Sixth Sense: M. Night Shyamalan. Yeah, I did know that, it was on the DVD cover Also, M. Night Shyamalan is actually in the film aswell. Do you remember the bit where David Dunn checked that guy in the blue jacket for drugs but none was found? That guy in the blue jacket was Shyamalan Haha really? I didn't know that! The employees of the cinema we went to all dressed in pirate gear and talked in pirate talk. It was like pirate day all over again but on a more profession scale! I quoth something one of them said near us when screen 7 started playing music. "Yaarrghh... I don't like cold play.... arrr.." Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow... AWESOME! Once again... If you liked his character in the first one, then you'll love him again. If you think JD is 'Gorg' then i guess he's a feast for yer eyes again in this one. More of the 'Sexy' Eyeliner. lol that sounds awesome man I agree Johnny Depp is great in these films (although saying that i can't think of many films he is not brilliant in..) I thought Keira Knightly was alright in this film myself, same with Orlando Bloom. Went to see Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man's Chest on wednesday (), overal i was impressed, it featured many aspects that made the first film enjoyable, yet added new elements to keep the plot fresh. Johnny Depp was amusing and likeable as Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom did his part as goodie-goodie Will Turner, and Keira Knightly was better than i expected as fiery Elizabeth Swann. It surprised me in places particularly towards the end, and i found the action scenes and set peices suitably impressive. I did feel the plot may have been a little confusing if you missed a key detail, although personally i followed it ok. It seems they have definitely gone for a trilogy approach with the films, and this film includes many references to the first, as well as leaving it with a big cliffhanger. I believe they shot this and the third film almost back to back however so we should not have too long to wait. While some people have compared its back to back shooting with the Matrix trilogy (a big disapointment overal) i found more similarities myself with the original star wars trilogy. This comparison has also been echoed by various parties, and is present in both the plot, and characterisation in the film. I won't give anything away, but if you like Pirates, or Just Johnny Depp then this film is worth a watch, its good fun, and the CGI is well used. I also saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on DVD, i enjoyed it, but its nothing to get excited about. Very Tim Burton. _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches?
