Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it. Went to see Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man's Chest on wednesday (), overal i was impressed, it featured many aspects that made the first film enjoyable, yet added new elements to keep the plot fresh. Johnny Depp was amusing and likeable as Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom did his part as goodie-goodie Will Turner, and Keira Knightly was better than i expected as fiery Elizabeth Swann. It surprised me in places particularly towards the end, and i found the action scenes and set peices suitably impressive. I did feel the plot may have been a little confusing if you missed a key detail, although personally i followed it ok. It seems they have definitely gone for a trilogy approach with the films, and this film includes many references to the first, as well as leaving it with a big cliffhanger. I believe they shot this and the third film almost back to back however so we should not have too long to wait. While some people have compared its back to back shooting with the Matrix trilogy (a big disapointment overal) i found more similarities myself with the original star wars trilogy. This comparison has also been echoed by various parties, and is present in both the plot, and characterisation in the film. I won't give anything away, but if you like Pirates, or Just Johnny Depp then this film is worth a watch, its good fun, and the CGI is well used. I also saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on DVD, i enjoyed it, but its nothing to get excited about. post 100 yeah i saw PotC2 last night! was flipping awesome it got a bit confusing some times, but the acting was fantastic and funny, especially johnny depp and keira knightly. Walk the Line i really took a liking to this movie, i'm not quite sure why exactly, but i'm now into johnny cash's and 70's country music in general. its a good watch and well directed/acted/etc, deserves the critical acclaim that it received. EDIT: Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - sucked so much ass i can't put it into words. Absolutely atrocious movie, don't ever see it _______________ Brother to Luke Skywalker and (SKX) Dark Blade

Saw the Da Vinci Code last week with my girlfriend, we thought it was okay, better than a lot of people suggested it would be. Very hollywood, but an enjoyable code breaking thriller regardless. Next Wednesday going to see Pirates 2, looking forward to it, most films with Johnny Depp in them are good, and i enjoyed the first. I saw Pirates last night, it was ok. Very hard for me to understand what was happening and I dont think it was as good as the 1st one. But a must see nontheless.
