Useing the jae mod?

I dont know if this should go here or not but how do you use the jae mod in your own servers
the readme doesent make much sence to me so any help whould be nice

since i just whanted to play with my freind
i replaced the main files with jae so the game always has those so that worked.

Like I said, you need to make a dedicated server. Even after that, it will require a map restart to enable cheats. But with the server being dedicated, it shouldn't delete JAE when you attempt to do so. See here and here for information on setting up a dedicated server, but replace JAR and JA+ with JAE. :D

The emotes should work. When you have loaded the mod and created a game, open the console and type /aminfo. If you get the "unknown command" message, reinstall JAE, since it will probably be that the game has replaced the main JAE dll with the original base one. This happens whenever you do so much as a map_restart, which really sucks. Fortunately, if you make the server dedicated, you shouldn't have a problem, especially if you use the server tools Raven released.

yeah i should have made my queston better but
i know that. it's that when i start my sever none of the jae stuff seems to work such as the emotes so is thare something else i have to do?

Download it, extract all of the files to GameData, then run the game and go to Setup > Mods, select JAE and load it up. You can find commands and other information in the readme. :)
