Hmmmm dunno, there aren't that many. For heavy stance explain about the diagonals and the fact that combos have to be formed from keys next to each other, and have to flow in movement, so you can't go from left to right diagonal or right, but forward, and then a right related spin. Then just do a few examples and say that they can be interspersed do make it more unpredictable.

um, question guys: I'm also doing combos, but there are just sooo many combinations I can name. Some would only be very slightly different. ok, glad that I've got the job  . MoS: I was indeed planning to make that kind os scheme to start with. I think if I start of tomorrow, I can do a lot in one day. I'll mail the first things that I have done to Jake, coz I think he'll be my counterpart in this

Also, a good starting point would be to do a rough 1.A. outline of your entire section.
The Lightsaber 1. Blue stance a. The lunge b. basic combos c. advanced combos 2. Yellow stance a.The YDFA b.Basic combos c.Advanced combos 3. Red a b c 4. Counters a b Old Style a b c General Duel Tactics a b c Yeah, like that. One comment, get everyone's ideas and opinions FIRST, and write ALL OF THEM down.
If some people think DFAs should never ever be used, we want to put that in additition to the view that they are good for drawing people in as a trap. The saber section will be the biggest. I'm kinda worried about two guys with one section. Jake, why don't you let Exar be responsible for it, and you can assist him. Exar, read through all the Project threads in this forum and in Academy Discussion. I'll mail you some more information in a bit. What you wana do seems to be ok. I can see the saber section being larger than just on person. I have visioned it being a big phat pool of ideas and statements, then someone (probably end up being me) will write it all down in the final document. ok listen, here's what I'd like to do:
I'm not sure if my knowledge goes far enough for the entire section, but I do know quite some things. So what I want to do is this: I'd like to be in charge of this section, and start by writing down whatever I can think of. After that, we'll search people who have something to add, under my supervision(and yours of course). Let me know what you think of it. Exar, if you want to be responsible for the entire lightsaber section, e-mail me. Remember though, you need to have good writing/team skills, be very knowledgeable, and be incredibly dedicated as you will also be in charge of updates.
If not, then write whatever you want to see in there, and send it to the guy in charge of the saber section when we find somebody. Even saber throw should have a little bit of coverage. i've done most of it in the force section (as technically it is a force power) just need tactics and stuff to be done. Combos, yeah sounds s00pa. I'd like some input on Medium stance as I'm starting to figure it out and see paterns which make sense. Would be good to explore this. Just wondering. Whoevers doin this section, do you remember my little known moves thread ? Are you gonna grade the techniqies by difficulty, like Double Spin Skill level to Execute: Advanced Stuff like that.
