FC Barcelona vs. Arsenal FC 2-1 After Campbell's goal, Barcelona made a comeback with two goals from Eto'o and Belletti and won the match.  After all Arsenal did a outstanding job with only 10 men. Thing is, Ronaldinho seldom sees much of the ball. He's a playmaker, and that's how he gets used. But, besides the fact the weather was horrendous, he wasn't having a good day. Did you see his shot in the second half? Completely fecked it up. It wasn't until they brought Larsson came on that they started to produce genuine goal scoring oppurtunities. Sure, Ronaldinho contributed, but he could have done alot better. |

He didn't play horrible imo, it just wasn't his day. And there were always two or more Aresnal players near him when he touched the ball. From those positions it's hard to play good. As Eica said, he's still brilliant. This comment was edited by Vision on May 18 2006 04:24pm. |

As a Barca supporter i'm delighted that they won. But i'd rather it have played out more like the Scottish cup final or the FA cup final, where it was a close game with solid officiating and good sportsmanship. Unfortunately this was not the case.  Both teams played excellently but the referee absolutely hummed balls and in my opinion, Arsenal deserved to win. Ronaldinho had a horrible game and in my opinion Thierry Henry should have racked up at least two goals. Victor Valdes had a great game though. Was a shame to see the sending off but it was probably the only decent call in the game by the ref. Congrats to Barca, but they won it by the skin of their teeth. Such is the way of football though. |

Imo both teams deserved to win. They wouldn't be here if they weren't the best this year. But there can always be only one winner. In the end only the goals decide it. Barce definitly deserved to win as much as Arsenal. Although Barca's my favourite, Arsenal still one of the teams I like most. That's why the match was awsome for me. I could watch some of my favourite players at the same time. Btw it was Lehmann's own fault for that red card. The game is over, and there is no "What if...". yeah shame on referee... he somehow saved arsenals arse from the goal at that 27 (or whatever ) min. now who really deserved to win? barca ofcourse. why? they scored 3 goals and arsenal scored 1. nuff said. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
