Ah yes the Iraqi puppet government because they were actually voted on by their citizens. Its not legitimate unless its 100% for saddam right? Barrels and barrels of "fertilizer" in bunkers as military depots don't count as wmd though right? Niether do those high grade explosives that are optimal for use in nuclear weapons that the NYT and CBS wanted to play "gotcha" with a week before the elections. Or the uranium that Iraq still had that had enough weapons grade potential many hiroshima sized bombs. Then there's the plame-wilson "scandal" where wilson "proved" that Iraq wasn't seeking yellowcake from africa, although only discrediting one of 3 sources of british intelligence, and they have never stepped back from the other 2 sources as being credible. So who do you trust? The media? No they're not biased at all right? As long as you ignore memo-gate, and that promise of the media delivering john kerry 15% in the elections. When it comes to the conflict over there, I'm going to trust the soldiers who are on the ground, and the iraqi government that's in charge there. I wouldn't trust the Iraqi puppet or the "He (Saddam Hussein) has WMD!!!" US Governemnt with a rubber band gun. The pictures are convincing to me. Our Military isn't real fond of claiming someone is dead just to find out later that he isn't. Our Military does do what it can to maintain its reputation and standards regarless of how its membership acts or it administration demands. He is dead, you see the body, that is what dead people look like when you clean them up a little. Several things lead me to believe that this is not fake. The photo evidence, the day delay in announcing it, and that those who did the announcing were Iraqi and US officials, not some media source. There were multiple times over the past years where there were claims that some raid might have killed zarqawi but we were waiting for confirmation. This time it wasn't even mentioned until after it had been confirmed.
