It regards the maps... I was wondering, would it be possible to have one server for the regions? Like, one server for the Asian region, one for North and South American, One for Europe, that kinda thing...

I only thought of ths because I realised that it's difficult to duel if you are not from europe or one of the surrounding countries... I'm from Singapore, and I use the best broadband network that there is, and yet my ping in the JA servers is in the 300s... but when I create a game, my ping is almost always 0. The Asian server could be run by an Australian or something, it doesn't have to be an Asian, since Australians also live in the southern regions....

Just a thought. :)

Thanks for clearing my doubts, Setementor.

Ok, I suppose I'll just have to live with my ping being high till I move to America, if I do... lol. But honestly, thanks Setementor, I was just saying stuff without eally thinking through it. :)

If anybody would be willing to donate a stable server to the academy, based in one of those regions, then yes, it probably is possible. For now, I think the servers are as good as they are going to get.

By the way, it may not be as simple as for somebody to just create a server on their personal computer and expect to be able to run it 24/7 without much lag or other problems. You would need all the right equipment as well as decent computer and connection specs, or the server could experience anything from the occasional lag spike to being plain unstable. For example, I can only run a decent server on my pretty high computer specs as long as I'm not running many other programs or downloading anything, and even then, it would probably only support around 6 players, as I'm just on a low broadband connection.
