.45s are good as decorative pieces, but if your planning on using it for something (pictures, fanmovies, photoshop-fodder) then your going to need the full-scale rep. Personally, i'd save your pennies and just be patient. I had one it was like 5 inches long and the display stand is like 3 inches. Not too big, it fit easily on the base of my monitor stand.
