So HL2: Episode 2 is due out in Q4 of 2006 sometime. It was recently announced that it would ship with two extra games. One is Team Fortress 2. The other is a new game called portal that used the HL engine in a very interesting way. Basically you have a "portal" gun where you can shoot and create portals to solve puzzles. For instance, say there's a big gap in your way, and you need to cross. Well, simply zap a portal over the gap, then zap another right next to you, and walk through. Video(should be first one the page, otherwise scroll down, title is " Portal Trailer 1" Also it was announced that HL2: Episode two would be coming to consoles, and the console versions would also be packaged with Half Life: 2 and Half Life 2: Episode 1 AND the two new extra games. _______________ "You can't get Windows on a Mac because the drivers are not compatible." --- Some dude from the Geek Squad "So if you have quad-core, you have four times the RAM, right?" --- Some guy at Best Buy |
