Quote: Of course the classics never die, I remember winning the original X-Wing game, it was rather tough. My friend acted as my R2 unit, adjusting my shields and settings as I flew. -Ian Lol nice idea! Oh and i agree Eica KotOR is a truly great game, one of those star wars games that broke past its big license to become a brilliant example of its genre, superbly executed. If only they had let Obsidion finish the second one rather than rush it out.... _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? I'd have to go JK here as I haven't played a lot of other ones, although I've heard KOTOR is good. Of course the classics never die, I remember winning the original X-Wing game, it was rather tough. I loved the X-wing and TIE-Fighter series. Shame on you for never having heard of them! My vote goes to KOTOR. Not only is it the best star wars game there is, it's one of the best games I've ever played. _______________ Former padawan of RoseRed |

Star Wars Rogue Squadron... w00t thanks for adding X-Wing Obi i'll dig up the wiki link for you... here it is! Should find a lot of info on them there. Interesting choices i am seeing here, i thought me and my friends were the only ones who liked Jedi Power Battles for the PS1 I enjoyed the Clone Wars as well. Have to say though Rogue Squadron was always a Nintendo game for me, i played the X-Wing series on the PC, RS was always the arcadey console alternative. Edit: Not to say i didn't like RS, i just prefered it on the Nintendo consoles. _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? The Clone Wars game, the multiplayer is the most awesome thing ever. Also Jedi Power Battles for the PS1. And Rogue Squadron for PC, not N64. _______________ "You can't get Windows on a Mac because the drivers are not compatible." --- Some dude from the Geek Squad "So if you have quad-core, you have four times the RAM, right?" --- Some guy at Best Buy |

I can just quote Alex. They are all good in their own category (for a SW fan at least) and I could not really choose the best. I love KotOR very much but you do see me play JK as well so I just say I like them all. _______________ Proud owner of Malak's 50th and special 300th, Alex D'Kana's 3600th and 4000th, Laziana's 200th and [Jawa][Obi-Wan][SW]'s 1300th comment. LoL impossible to say, they are all very different games. Although saying that why put DF & JK in different categories? They are the same series. Love KotOR, love JK/DF, and love Rogue Squadron, although it was not perfect. I really like the games that feature stuff from the EU, JK and KotOR are good examples. Oh and why isn't X-Wing on there? Its the flight sim that started the star wars games craze! X-wing, TIE Fighter, & X-Wing Alliance are all superb, better even than RS. Galactic Battlegrounds was a laugh if you like Age Of Empires. Rep Com had a good single player mode. Supremacy/Rebellion was strangely addictive, almost hypnotic. Battlefront was good fun, but didn't have quite the lasting power of the game it copied - battlefield. Star War Galaxies... well what a legend that is, R.I.P the new stuff they are introducing shows promise but early stuff i have read about it suggests its poorly implemented - i doubt they would ever get the amazing community back anyway.. Yoda Stories - LOL, Rebel Strike - great FMV, Demolition was a rental at best, Masters of the Teras Kasi was a cool idea but overal a limited game. Clone wars was okay, not much to say about it though, Lego Star Wars - funny stuff, i enjoyed it. Bounty Hunter had its moments, but became repetiative. Podracer 1 = surprisingly good, i enjoyed that too, 2 wasn't so good. Battle for Naboo was poor, but starfighter was good, both 1 & 2, arcadey fun. Film games are not brilliant recently anyway, EP 1 & 3 were average at best. Saying that Jedi Power Battles was good multiplayer, not technically perfect by any means but it was funny reminded me of classic sidescrolling beat 'em ups. Talking of those the old SNES games were great, hard too! Havn't played Force Commander, EaW, Obi Wan & SotE. Not sure if i left anything out, and yes i have played too many sw games _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches?
