I'm pretty sure it has to deal with illegal copies of windows vista itself, and other pirated versions of windows software. There are very likely going to be a lot of cracks and ways around this as well as viruses that will give the "pirate" alert to clean software. While we are kind of on the subject, what's with the prohibition to keep installing your software? As soon as you install your WinXP for the fourth time, it becomes illegal software and you have to buy a new code?
