Edit: Oh and would be great to see JK1 updated, i believe some chaps tried it with Dark Forces a while back, and they even released a demo version of the mod, no idea if it was ever fully released. I think something similar was once tried with X-wing: alliance. They attempted to update everything from the ship models, to the cockpits, and even laser blasts and projectile weapons. What was done looked great, but it did fizzle out I believe without being completed.
