I'm looking to replace my little HP 4.2 megapixel with something a little more....serious. Breaking in at about a 400ish dollar range, and with enough professionalisim to be worth shooting with for the next year or two. Manual zoom would be a plus.
Right now I've been looking at Canon's and drooling at five-figure price tags. Anywho, anyone have any suggestions? _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

If you are looking for your first digital SLR, I suggest the Nikon D50. It's the best bang for your buck in that league of cameras in my opinion. Of course, if you want something even better and more expensive, the D200 series is amazing. I have a lot of experience with Nikon and they're awesome. Canon is good too, but at the entry level, Nikon has them beat. At least, that's what I think.
Digital SLRs are a lot of fun. It doesn't really matter which you go with, you'll enjoy it. EDIT: Also, don't forget that most SLRs do not come with any lenses. You have to get a lens package. _______________ make install -not war This comment was edited by Bubu on Oct 26 2006 12:54am. |
