For those of you who don't know. My mom has been fighting cancer now for over a year. She has already gone through two big surgeries, radiation and two rounds of chemotherapy. After her last surgery everything looked good and the doctors were pleased that everything looked clear. A month after that, her cancer came back.
Sooo.....here we are again. Round 3. This is going to be her biggest surgery yet and they may actually have to remove part of her bowel depending on how far it has spread. Her surgery is this upcoming Tuesday, October 31st, at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. This will be her first time having surgery at this hospital so hopefully it will make a difference being that it's a cancer hospital. Any prayers/thoughts are MOST appreciated for we are all scared. Thanks for all the prayers and support guys!! My moms surgery went quite well! She is very drowsy and was out of it when I left the hospital, but she was in good spirits. The surgeon was very pleased at how it all turned out. They had to remove a small portion of the small intestine but it wasn't as much as they thought. They also removed the cancer.

On that note, I came across an interesting site a while ago. After some good searching, it seems I have managed to find it again: http://www.cancer-prevention.net/ The person who has written that article has done lots of research and combined his own and many other people's research and come up with "11 Effective, Natural Strategies" to overcome or prevent cancer. I'm not sure how useful this will be, but there it is if you are interested. I just wanted to say that I have been doing some research into natural cures fora while now and alot of what I have been reading seems to be sound and make sense to me. This information that you have provided further reinforce what I have already read and I thank you whole heartedly for posting this for Smily. I'm going to look into this with alot of energy and push to make these options happen. With any luck, they will help.
