I'm sure many people have one this year.
Mine is to try to make it with my band (not really a resolution, but still requires alot of effort, lol), and to apply myself to the JA more than I have been this last quarter. Along with the base standard resolution of trying to make myself healthier in a bunch of ways. Hehe. What's yours?

My New Year's resolution.
First off, I was really impressed with the following line of books: Robert Carter's Language of the Stones I like how he implemented that everything you do comes back to you three times as strong. Therefore my big new year's resolution was to be nicer to people. Some may know that I've had a rough year at it because of losing someone special and her taking a lot of people I considered friends with her. And that's now about half of a year ago, but I realized that I had become quite the bitter person because of it. So I tried living like Robert Carter said. Smile to people, and three will smile back. It may sound stupid to you, but I believe it works. I've tried giving more compliments instead of just shutting up, and realized I got more compliments myself. This is working, and I'm glad for it. I can make other people smile more and they can make me smile. That's my New Year's resolution. _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! I never make resolutions. I do okay in school. I guess it would be to find a good part time job for while I am in school. I love the one I have right now, but it doesn't pay me enough!! Hehe!

I did actually cry for new year, and not because it would be "happy", but more because it was not. I live online, and when I go outside, I want to be with people I find interesting, and casual RLers are, in my opinion, not. Also, they don't harm themselves for pleasure, but to ease the wounds of their heart. Ever noticed that if something hurts you, if you make something else hurt you notice it less? Well, phsyical pain is a lot less terrible than psychological, so their way of easing pain is actually very effective. They don't do it of pleasure, they are not masochists. What is wrong with talking about death? It's a part of the cycle of life, and awaits us all, some sooner some later, they're just the only ones who actually realise that. Finally, I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek. |

You know, I've never really made a new years resolution before. Always have been a tad mercurial, in a good way, when it comes to certain aspects of my life.
I know that I would like to get in better physical shape. Start a website for my best friend and I ( business and community ). Work on some of my past demons, see if I can't persuade them to downgrade to mere imps instead. Well the list could go on, as I'm sure anyones would.
