The OTHER Star Wars trilogy!!!
I mean, yes, they released episodes 4, 5 and 6 as a DVD box set...but how about releasing episodes 1, 2 and 3 as a set too!? Argh! Or is this (still) work in progress? Come on! |

I really hope too, that there will be a complete box set. But a really high quality one. The old trilogy box set just does not look good. They so not blend in with each other. My biggest fear is that GL will want to write or direct episodes for the new star wars series. But, Luke has got to be the biggest noob in SW. What does he do when he has finally beaten his pops and has become a Jedi, and is about to overthrow the Emperor, he tosses his Lightsabre aside.  the symbol of the Jedi and the one thing that could have helped him to deflect the awesome power of Sidious.

They'll probably do something for the 30th anniversary, like a complete set or something, as long as they don't go like LotR with 16 different versions like, extended version, special edition, directors cut, special edition directors cut and limited edition extended version directors cut. I'm surprised the key grip hasn't put out a cut yet.
Sorry for the rant, I just really hate LotR. And before anyone asks yes I have watched it, well attempted to watch it but fall asleep about 30-40 min into it. See Clerks 2 for an accurate reenactment of LotR.

Did you watch Episode II? Hmm can't imagine there is a rush to get these into a box set, primarily due to their lower popularity compared to the originals. However saying that its almost certain we will see a DVD boxset for the prequals eventually, even if its just for the cash in.
