Hope there isn't already a thread about this... has anyone else been watching this show? Just watched the first 11 episodes and I think it's freaken awesome; plot, characters, super powers - all of it. I'm hearing Season 1 continues this Monday. im not really looking forward to seeing this anymore, it was still very anticlimactic, season 3 was pretty poor, the script writers feel they have the fan base to pawn off crap episodes and poorly strung together storylines just as long as they put a bit of action every couple of episodes. Seriously if people start boycotting it, they might pull their finger's out the their a$$'s and write something decent. _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

hmmm it would be nice if they revived the real nathan. then ofcourse he would go apeshit, because of the thing angela, noah and matt did. ofcourse in the process he would make loads of mess... like make sylar be aware of his true personality. then i guess through the 'TICK TOCK' thing he would repair his brain and then the usual sylar-ownage would go... lol _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Lol, the episode was OKAY. Nothing worthy of a season final. I was kinda expecting that Nathan would get killed by Sylar. The show is too predictable.
What I wasen't expecting was the way HOW Nathan would die. Matt brainwashing Sylar in to thinking he's Nathan was a awesome move. I feel sorry for the real Nathan though. He was a awesome character. I'm kinda wondering how Adrian Pasdar will play the mixture between the personality's of both Nathan and Sylar. I'm pretty confident he will do a good job since he's a terrific actor. Techniqually he IS still Nathan. Think about it. With the shapeshifting ability you basicly absorb people's DNA and get acces to their experiences, memory and personality traits. Combined with the ability Sylar previously picked up "To know the history behind every object he touches" to fill up the gaps. You get a pretty close replica of Nathan. I think next season will pretty much resolve how Nathan discovers he's really Sylar. He might get a split personality like Nikki used to have, but eventually Nathan gets the upperhand. Peter was pretty awesome this episode. It was a really clever move by taking the Presidents place and shove a huge ass needle in Sylars face "Ha, you never thought I would take that one. Did you?". Epic! |

Yes. Very true, although as soon as he died I remembered that Noah has died already and they pumped some of claire's blood around him and he was brought back, so I assumed they were gonna do they same for that, but now they have burnt Sylar.. Who knows. I wonder if Nathan has all of Sylar's abilities?

as for sylar... hmm.. i think its more along the lines of... was it really worth it? was nathan really that important? he didnt do anything in a few weeks so id say he wasnt that important lol. however that twist was... quite great compared to things we saw most of the time in this volume. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Awesome.... Although Sylar will be back. Im almost wondering what the point of everything draining out of Sylar in the end was. Does that mean Peter took everything out of Sylar. Or just 1 thing?

According to the spoilers Sylar will shapeshift in to Nathan. So the heroes universe might become like it was 5 years in to the future.
All though I think that would be TOO obvious. In the teaser you hear Sylar saying ''Clair will be so mad at me LOL''. I have this theory that Noah will get the axe instead of Nathan. It would defiantly give the show a bigger twist then doing then the obvious. I hope this theory won't become reality though. Noah is one of my favorite characters. Along with Peter, Matt Parkman and Hiro. |

Interesting. You have to assume that Peter is on route to find Nathan. he needs a new twist.

Sylar is just to powerful, althought his "identity crisis" could prove to be very interesting. Only 2 more episode for the season, hopefully they will be worth a watch. I know I complain alot about the series aswell, and the necessary speel about "the company" and how it was formed and how it is needed again was useful, but the episode just lacked that x-factor that some of the other episodes have had.
