Has The Jedi Academy died? 
It's really depressing...i don't get it. Where is everybody? I hardly see many people from a year ago around anymore...and wireplay/home server(s) are nearly always empty. Whats happening? Is everyone just bored of the game or, like me (in quite a lot of respects)...too busy? |

Last i checked i was still alive.
In fact personally i've been getting on more often in the past month or two. Trying to have at least one training session or spar a week. Last few times i've been on the servers they have seemed quite busy actually. I think its a particularly quiet week so far, at least going by forums - i have been snowed under with work myself. This place isn't going anywhere yet, and there are still a lot of us up for a game when we have time. As to people from a year ago, most of them seem at least semi-active to me, and there are new people (newbies and oldbies who have returned) who are around thesedays too. Of course the game is losing popularity though, its been out for four years, and its the (possibly) less popular sequel to JKII anyway, which has been out for five years i believe. I've found that star wars games don't die easily in any case, they tend to gather a special community. Examples off the top of my head are: This game, SWG (which has kept going despite the NGE, and being buggy and unbalanced since the game was released), and even republic commando - which wasn't overly popular in multiplayer in the first place, but still managed to gather a community for a time. /flicks scarf over shoulder And thats the end of that chapter.  _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? mb2 gets just as boring as jka... and even then its not one of those games where you can hop in any time and have fun. jka always has that preocupied spot in my harddrive... i play it once in awhile. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
