aight, I suppose if u like the straight jazzy sound, u wont have a fender with humbuckers well, I donno big deal about guitars, but our guitar player is pretty addicted to getting lots of new stuff.... he's currently searching for nice speakers to get that "marshall" wall.... but our band has got a ratm/ old rhcp style, so that suits quite well.... his other band plays dillinger escape plan style... pretty sick, but fun..... well, my 3 cents _______________ One of the Belouve boys, founder of the mighty FiZZsters Midbie council #20 - Fizz - #1933 - Jan '03 - Aug '04 "Renfield, you idiot!" |

here's my response to the last time you asked me that question billy lately i've been listening to a lot of better than ezra. i enjoy listening to them because of their deep lyrics and awesome riffs. but when i need to hug a tree and go back to my roots, i listen to some blues traveler, rhcp, metallica...the good ol' stuff. i can't say that i have one favorite guitar player. i take influences from many different ones. james hetfield, stevie ray vaughan, john petrucci, joe satriani, chet atkins...the list goes on and on. i don't own an amp right now. i used to play through a 8 input mixer and 2 10 inch peavey's. but now i play on a 100W, 14 inch peavey amp that i stole from my school. (i play in the jazz band there.) i have a digitech rp300 that i used to play through a lot, but i haven't used it in months. i prefer to play clean tone jazz so there hasn't been a need for it. |
