I just came back from watching the midnight screening of 300, i can honestly say it was the most badass movie i have possibly ever seen...go watch it you will not be disappointed
THIS....IS...SPARTAAAA!!!! _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. He got his @$$ zapped by lightning from the geezer Emperor, stood up and said "s'at all you got b!tc#??" |

That movie was incredibly disappointing. I'm a big fan of the comic, and like Sin City I expected a faithful adaptation from the book. That crappy movie was anything buy. They added all this mumbo jumbo and outright cheesy drivel about why they fight and MTV'd up all the fight scenes. Stick to flat out fighting then it'd be better. Still though the fights are cool enough and its certainly pretty. It's just not a good movie. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

looks awesome! i shall go see this, on..the 22nd march, this movie is based on what i am studying in history which is kool battle of thermopolis i believe where the Spartans fought bravely against millions of romans and only 300 of themselves..

This movie was like, oh my god. I swear they just built a camera out of happy and filmed their own day to day lives and it transformed into this awesome movie.

Well I have to say ive been looking forward to this for about 3 months or maybe more. Unfortunately it was not as great as I expected it to be. (maybe I over-hyped it) It felt like there was 0 build-up to the dramatic/battle scenes and the action wasn't mind blowing. You won't be disappointed if you went to see the magnificent imagery and yeah there were good battle scenes in it but overall didn't live up to my expectations. |
