Anyone else watch this when it was on? I saw the series back when it was on BBC2 but i was rather young so i'm going through it again online.
So far i've been even more blown away than the first time, i'm seeing techniques that other more recent (and acclaimed) sci-fi shows have only just begun using and its all neatly wrapped in a well scripted and acted package with great effects - and that includes the excellent puppetry! [A very underrated art] Anyway i'm planning on picking up all four series on DVD and was wondering if anyone else liked this brilliant show? Well, since Season 9 SG-1 haas become a Sci-Fi reunion, kinda, anyway..... Yeah i saw that was a great treat for any farscape fan, especially with Ben Browder and Claudia Black already in the regular cast for SG1 as well. Made me all nostalgic. There was even a reference to firefly in that 200th episode though. I bought the second series on DVD recently and i'm pretty impressed, loads of extras and stuff. I've reached the point where Crichton really starts going crazy and the writing for the episodes (and the acting) just keeps getting better. 6:45 usually i believe, same time as Buffy was usually on and that had sex and dark themes in it. In fact some Buffy videos are rated 15 at least. Farscape got progressivly darker weirder and more adult themed as the series progressed as i can remember, even as far as i have gotten now that much is apparent. I can tell you now that watching it again now that I understand whats going on better makes the show ten times more amazing (and it was amazing anyway, even when i was a kid).
