Don't really know where this goes but here it goes.
Had a razer diamonback for sometime now and its been functioning perfectly until recently. I get random disconnection notification (the sound) and the mouse actually stops working for 0.5 sec or something. Tried reinstalling drivers but didn't work could there be something wrong with the cable ? _______________ Bored of Psu Back to Gw I apologise in advance to all the people that will take offense to me saying my opinion. |

Oh razer mice are very well made, possibly the best of the best; my diamond back lasted me all the way till' December 06 (from 04). Thats about the time I had the problem, even then I only put it aside because the feet were worn.

I love razers, own a copper head here.
Razer mouses are notorious for randomly breaking down every now and then. I had my diamondback break once, similar to your problem, except it would die out and come back only after I moved it around alot. This is probably obvious and you already looked into it, but just in case see if the cable came loose from the mouse a bit. People complain about that all the time when they compare it with logitech in those long fruitless debates. If not, razers have good warranties. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

Sounds like there is an issue with the USB connection. Might wanna try it on a diffrent machine or in a diffrent USB port. And if it persists with those two option go have it exhanged, if you still have warranty on it.
