If all you play is senseless metal then yeah, EMG pickups rock. If you play a variety of music, especially using clean channels, then EMG's just suck. In fact, i'm not a huge fan of active pickups in general. EMG have made a couple of decent passive single coils though, but DiMarzio's where it's at, boy.

And why would it not be comfortable to play ? It's way more streamlined than a bcrich and i don't see anyone complaining about them being unconfortable. And sound like shit ?? Ye right. Novelty guitars are cool, but I bet it sounds like ass. 
Personally, I think these things are much prettier. 
Btw Shar, guitars like that are ridiculously uncomfortable to play. It's just those homo j-pop freaks that think they look cool with those freakin' things.
