Oh its not a joke, its true. Its actually a story that has been floating around for a couple years. But the pentagon has officially confirmed it. It was one of the proposals for non-lethal methods of dealing with combat. Despite what that article says, I don't believe it went in any way beyond a proposal and the military didn't pursue it in any true way.
