The Force Unleashed E3 Trailer airing on TV tomorrow _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. He got his @$$ zapped by lightning from the geezer Emperor, stood up and said "s'at all you got b!tc#??" |

I never played the Episode 3 game, but i hear the controls were horrid, I asked Hayden about the combat system and as he didnt say how it would work, he did say it wasnt a hack and slash, yet im struggling to see how it wont be. _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. As for TFU, the trailer looks amazing. I very much like the reverse grip on the lightsaber, adds some style, and the use of the force looks just amazing. I know Hayden (lead developer) told me there was lightsaber combos that tie into force useage but at the same time im concerned on the lightsaber combat being hack and slash during normal attacks which will lack the control of a lightsaber that I would like to see. Actually I'm speaking about this rumor. And really let's be honest. If Lucasarts does not create a game where you use the wii controller as a lightsaber, then they have got to be the company most completely out of touch in what their fanbase wants. As for the lightsaber being hack and slash for unleashed, I kind of expect that. Did you play the Episode 3 game by any chance? Do you know how the controls were for it? I mean the graphics and moves looked amazing, but an amazing move done by just pressing one button isn't really that user-intesive. Also have you ever tried playing the console versions of the jedi knight games? No where near the control you have on pc. And for porting games to a PC eventually. JP and I spoke to the lead developer at CIV on just that very thing, we spoke about drain whores lightning whores etc...and they are very aware of it and are actualy putting in way so you can't spam whore. They know it's a problem with most games and they are working on ways to get rid of it.

I dunno man, I' diggin the way Vader takes an apprentice, and he just wreaks havoc with the force. The lightsaber stuff is much more dominant in every other game, so it's nice to see this. Looks awesome to me. |

looks nice and all, but my opinion didnt change at all.

No mention of PC. My interest in this game has completely dried up. I'll look more forward to a star wars game on the Wii than this, since its a console I might actually buy.
